Kuruman Visit
“The overall impression was one of awe and wonder what God had started here in the wilderness and finally brought deep into Africa through just a few Holy Spirit-inspired people from distant Europe. There was also gratefulness that this spiritual heritage was still remembered and preserved. May UPF and many others pray into our wonderful spiritual history and heritage and a return of God’s blessing on our nation. May our prayers open hearts and minds to the God who had brought their forefathers out of darkness and is waiting for the return of this generation. May a rediscovery of our spiritual heritage also re-unite us with our spiritual parents in Europe, who are now in deep darkness.”
India Prayer Journey experiences
“For the first time in my life I felt the overwhelming presence of God while praying in the Spirit – it wasn’t just babble, it was Him speaking Life. For years and years, the Spirit has been yearning to pray specific things right there over Gurez.”
“We prayed for seven solid hours. I did not know that I was able to pray for seven hours! The words just kept on flowing out of our mouths. The first hour or two it might have been our own flesh talking, but I know I do not have enough words inside me for seven hours – it must have been the Holy Spirit speaking through us.”
MTLALA
“In 2024 and 2025 UPF prayed with the 91-year-old missionary serving at Matlala Mission Station that God will revive the church there and that young people will use the parsonage again as a base for outreaches.
In January 2026 a young man heard about the planned trip for this year and pleaded with us to allow him to take a group of young people to Matlala – he has been dreaming about going on a mission trip to Matlala since he was 14 years old!
Sometimes God answers us even before we pray the words. Glory be to God.”
FAITH OF OUR FATHERS GERMANY 2023
The Germany 2023 outreach experience should be written up as a God story – this is clear from team feedback:
- Angie: this was transcendental and surpassed all past experiences; my prayer life will not be the same;
- Sophia: in one word – a miracle; we experienced God at another level; He provided everything for me; I don’t have words to give testimony.
- Rolf: the result of prayer outweighs everything I have experienced before; God has started a fire through this visit; a blessing has come on my family, which must go to my community; the community must now go back to Germany – I will pray for that.
- Victor: In my ministry, I have tended to limit God – I learned that God is unlimited; I am concerned that we do not have enough corporate prayer in my church.
- Eberhard: God provided fresh insight and growth in a post-eighty season; my family (parents and grandparents had been blinded by human achievement, missing the spiritual failures completely – Frederick the Great – and passed that blindness on to me)
